Winter at Adelaide Shores

The cold weather is enough to turn us off a beach holiday, but holidaying in winter does have its benefits. Here are 4 best reasons to travel to Adelaide Shores this winter.

1.  CHEAPER
When it is off-peak season around Adelaide, accommodation is usually at a cheaper rate, and more deals and specials are available. In order to snap these up, travel in the autumn/ winter months and stay away from school holiday periods.

2.  NOT AS CROWDED
With it being off-peak season, the popularity of beach accommodation usually drops off. This can provide you with more space, more use of facilities and better choice of accommodation. All the facilities that places offer are still there in the winter, it will just be less crowded and a reduced waiting time. Eg: restaurants, heated pools and gaming rooms.

3.  ADELAIDE OFFERS A LOT OF INDOOR WINTER ACTIVITIES
There is no need to be scared of having nothing to do when travelling to Adelaide in winter. There are many options to entertain you and your family over the winter months.
Places include:
• The Beach House
• Bounce
• Marion Shopping Centre
• SA Aquatic Centre
• Harbour Town Outlet Shopping
• Glenelg Cinema

4. WINTER FUN DOESN’T STOP AT ADELAIDE SHORES

Adelaide Shores is still a fantastic place for your next holiday, no matter the weather. Great in cabin heating, heated swimming pools, games room (caravan park only), onsite cafe (entrance to the caravan park) and The Hub. The hub is our newest addition to the Caravan Park and offers a large indoor area for our guests to gather, watch TV and cook. There are 4 indoor BBQs and a kitchenette with all of your common kitchen items and area to wash up. This is a renovation of our previous camp kitchen that was not suitable for these weather conditions.
