Explore Adelaide (Kid Free)

We have done a lot on what to do to entertain the kids on our blog lately, but now lets focus on the adults. Sometimes, you just need a day away with your friends or with your loved one.

Wineries

Kids cannot go to a winery, so this is a perfect excuse to check out all of the wineries we have in South Australia. Check out our blog about SA wineries for ideas. This is a perfect way to spend a day, you can go as fast or slow as you want through these beautiful regions. We recommend visiting them all! Mclaren Vale, Barossa, Adelaide Hills and Clare. Its too hard to pick a favourite

Glenelg Cinema

Glenelg has just opened up a cinema off Jetty Road, and the best news is that is is Licenced!!! Relax with a wine, and see a movie that you actually want to see, and not what the kids want to see.

Jetty Road and Henley Square Restaurants

Forget about playgrounds and kids menus, these two locations, both within close distance to Adelaide Shores have some stunning restaurants that you can head to. From the Strand to Estia, Marina Pier, Bacchus Wine Bar or Stella, you will be spoilt for choice with fantastic menus.

Try a water sport

If you have read our previous blog, Adelaide has some great options for water sports to test your adrenaline. Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Scuba Diving and Fly Boarding. Perfect for those warmers days.

Engage in culture

Head up to Hahndorf for the day, visit our museums and state art gallery in the city, or head to central market. There are so many places you can check out without worrying about “I’m tireddddd” or “I’m boreddddd”. And we all know that means the kids have won.

We are sure we could sit here all day and suggest things, but get out and experience Adelaide through adult eyes. It’s amazing!
